This training is for mandated reporters, adults who are mandated by law to report suspicions of child abuse or neglect. The program empowers individuals and organizations to partner with child protection agencies in the community to keep kids safe. This program is offered through Foothills and local Departments of Social Services. 1 hour to 90 minutes with lecture & discussion.
Stewards of Children (Initial Training)
Stewards of Children is a nationally recognized child sexual abuse prevention program that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Designed for parents, grandparents, staff in child-serving organizations, and all concerned adults. 2 to 2.5 hours with video & discussion. Available in English and Español. Currently these are available by Zoom. |

Stand Up for Kids - Pandemic Edition
Detecting Child Abuse Virtually Especially relevant for teachers and others who work with children; all are welcome to attend. This training will specifically offer techniques for supporting child safety during the pandemic, virtually as well as in person. 90 minutes to 2 hours with lecture & discussion.
