Foothills Child Advocacy Center is proud to sponsor Stewards of Children, a child sexual abuse prevention training program that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. This evidence-based training teaches that adults are responsible for the safety of children.

Stewards of Children training is approved for 2 hours of Continuing Education Unit Credits (CEUs) by:
- Foothills offers this program in both English and Spanish free of charge., including providing nationally developed workbooks.
- A minimum of three persons is required in order to conduct a training.
- This program is made possible through the generous support of the Wardle Family Foundation.
Stewards of Children training is appropriate for:
- Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and all concerned adults who want to keep the kids they love safe;
- Groups and individuals that want to make a difference in their community by educating adults about how to protect children;
- Organizations and corporations seeking training for staff and volunteers on the prevention of child sexual abuse; and
- Organizations and corporations that need to respond to insurance requirements or continuing education needs regarding child protection.
Advanced Stewards of Children training is also offered, including:
- Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children;
- Bystanders Protecting Children from Boundary Violations & Sexual Abuse;
- Healthy Touch for Children and Youth; and
- Talking with Children about Safety from Sexual Abuse.
