Our Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT)
Each jurisdiction that we serve has an MDT and includes representatives from the local community partners like: Police Departments/Sheriff’s Office, Child Protective Services, Commonwealth’s Attorneys and Victim-Witness Offices, Piedmont CASA, Region Ten, ReadyKids, Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA), and the UVA Medical Center Forensics Team. Cases are reviewed each month by the MDT that work together to ensure that progress is made, that families receive supportive services and that the child is protected.
