Foothills Child Advocacy Center is proud to sponsor Stewards of Children, a sexual abuse prevention training program that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. This training teaches that adults are responsible for the safety of children.
The program is ideal for parents, grandparents, and any adults who care about children, as well as staff and volunteers of organizations that serve children and adolescents. Foothills Child Advocacy Center offers this program free of charge.
A minimum of three persons is required in order to conduct a training. This training is part of the Be a Hero for Kids! Learning Series for Adults.
